Heart beats

I desire you for me, wish you were forever mine

Lost souls, gaping holes, all shout and wail,

For the love that has gone in vain.

Until the soil of trust reaps the verdant greens

like in all ephemeral relations, I too shall blossom to feel

Feel the love, the ivy green, dance I will to your radiance and sheen,

Dare I must say, I love you still

What if our common future is not your will

the story was wrong, the clouds were swept away

the sky also betrayed, the endearing memory stayed

All went wrong, from plenty to nil ,

All swept away in a blink

With quivering hands I hide my face

Crying for the devastation within,

Maybe for the emotions, the way I feel

the moist eyes, the love they have seen

or maybe the heart that beats for you still.
