Such are the mysteries of love
The world becomes better, the sun shines a bit brighter
The flowers seem to bloom more , the air smells lighter
The love seeking eyes , the embrace tighter
Now ,I restrain from what I used to love
The songs I used to sing, the smile that I shared
The stories we read together, the moments when we cared
Now , I just bide my time , dreams that I dared
The day you came, the door’s opened,
The wide open panels, beckoned my being
When love touched me, I yearned for moments even fleeing
To be with you , to fly , float above the clouds , dreaming
The impermanence rule , permeates above and beyond
It leaves no one, touches all, nobody is left seeking
Nothing is permanent , the soul bleeding or heart beating
love must have touched it, at time exceeding , at times decreasing
Someone was pleading, stealing, kneeling, for love that is retreating
Now when you are gone, I have been weaving
Threads of desire, passion, dismay and regret entwining
Thinking, deciding, I won’t settle for anything else till breathing
I don’t promise the world, but I do promise my love
Its up to you, how much you value my love,
there are things I might do half heartedly
but there’s something I always do whole heartedly
that is the way I love you, & never will an occasionÂ
come to wrong the above , I will always love you !
Still don’t trust my love ? Maybe it’s not true!Â
I might have loved someone else tooÂ
Such someone whom I can never forget,Â
Such someone for whom my love was true
Such someone who never admitted she loved me too.
Such someone who tended to all my worries & blues,
Such someone who was always there
Such someone who’s hand I held & said I love you,
Such someone who is as beautiful as you!
Sugar! Such someone can only be no one else but you .Â
The faces will change, names will be forgotten
Somewhere in this air, my desire and your fragranceÂ
will remain living together
